End of Life

The priest administers this sacrament at the end of life as well.  People commonly call it “Last Rites.” If a loved one is nearing the end of his earthly pilgrimage, contact the priest for this comforting, important sacrament. Due to privacy laws, care facilities can no longer notify us themselves.

Infants and Children

If a newborn is admitted to the NICU or your older child requires surgery or hospitalization, please call the office for this sacrament.  It blesses the child and provides inestimable comfort to the parents.  If your child has not received baptism, the priest will administer baptism first and then this sacrament for the child’s health. This doesn’t preclude you having a church baptismal celebration with godparents later. Due to privacy laws, care facilities can no longer notify us themselves.  Please let us know if you want this sacrament for your child.
