Rachel Hosp is originally from Columbia, MO, but has spent most of her life in the Memphis area. Her family first lived in Cordova, where they were members of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (SFA) before moving to Collierville in the fall of 2015. Rachel attended SFA School through middle school before enrolling at St. Benedict at Auburndale, where she graduated in 2020.
She attended Mississippi State University, earning a degree in Mechanical Engineering with minors in Business Administration and Mathematics. Rachel graduated with honors in May 2024. During her senior year, she felt called to discern mission work with the Fellowship of Catholic University Students (FOCUS) and accepted an offer to serve in November 2023.
Rachel was assigned to Samford University in Birmingham, AL, where she now serves as a FOCUS missionary. As she prepares to enter her third year on mission, she continues to live out her call to be radically available to college students and accompany them in their pursuit of missionary discipleship.

Marshall McComas, a native of Fayetteville, AR, moved to Collierville in 2018 after separating from the military, where he served 4.5 years on active duty with the United States Army’s 82nd Airborne Division as an airborne infantryman, deploying once to Kandahar, Afghanistan in support of Operation Freedom’s Sentinel.
Marshall attended his first Mass at Incarnation in 2014. He and his wife, Mel, a lifelong Catholic and parishioner of Incarnation, were married in the Church by Fr. Ernie DeBlasio on July 4, 2015. Raised in a non-denominational protestant church, Marshall enrolled in RCIA in 2019 and was baptized, confirmed, and received first communion on May 30, 2020. Both Marshall’s children were baptized at Incarnation. Marshall’s family, along with his parents-in-law, Mark and Robbie Yerger, attend 8:00 AM Mass every Sunday where you’ve probably seen (and heard) his children.
Marshall is now a civil defense attorney at Lewis Thomason, P.C. in Memphis, TN, specializing in medical malpractice defense. He also serves on the Young Professional Advisory Board of the West Cancer Foundation, the 501(c)(3) non-profit entity associated with West Cancer Center that provides a number of services to cancer patients and their families completely free of charge. He holds undergraduate degrees from the University of Arkansas and the University of Mississippi, and obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Memphis.
