Come experience the Gospels in a fresh and powerful way! Join us for an engaging Adult Formation series featuring The Chosen, the groundbreaking television series that brings the people who encountered Jesus to life. Each week, we'll gather to watch one episode together and then dive into meaningful conversation about the characters, Scripture, and themes that emerge. Whether you've seen The Chosen before or are experiencing it for the first time, this is a relaxed and welcoming opportunity to grow in faith, connect with others, and see the story of Jesus through new eyes. We'll journey through Season 1 this fall and continue with Season 2 in the spring—come for one season or stay for the whole journey!
There is no cost to attend the sessions. We just ask you to register so we have an idea of how many to plan for. Sessions will be held Thursday evenings starting September 24 from 6:30pm-8:00pm. Sessions will be held in the Adult Formation Classroom (Room 102 in the Education Building).
Older children and teens are welcome to attend with their families! Because each evening includes watching an episode and participating in discussion, we ask that children be old enough to engage with the content and respectfully take part in the conversation. To ensure everyone can fully enjoy the experience, this series is not designed for young children who may need to play or move around during the session.
